Licence Fee Increase

Our governing body, The World Ju-Jitsu Federation (WJJF), have decided to raise the price of membership (aka ‘the licence’ / ‘Budo pass’).

The Board of Directors regret to inform you that there will be a general price increase for materials / gradings / memberships / etc., which will be introduced from the 1st March 2020. Unfortunately, this is due to continual rising costs which we have battled with for some time.

This has not been an easy decision as the Federation always has its Coaches and Students’ best interests at heart and over the years, has fought to keep charges down to an absolute minimum.

Please bear in mind that this will be the first price increase for 7 years and, wherever possible, we will always endeavour to keep these increases to a minimum.

This means that the registration fee for the children’s class (7 – 15yr olds) increases from £27 to £28, while the registration fee for adults class (16+ year olds) goes from £29 to £32.

You do not need to pay the new fee until your current membership is up for renewal.

We have also updated our FAQ page to reflect this change.
